Refining Process

About the Refining Process

Due to the fact that Wildrose Sugar Ltd is a micro-refinery, costs in freight and production are reduced. With our current and planned micro-refineries, we can supply liquid sugar close to our customers’ facilities for their convenience.

We have implemented a highly refined selective separation production method to produce high quality sugar products, leading to:

  • Eliminating the evaporation and crystallization steps = decreasing the energy per ton to refine sugar
  • Refining the usage of ion-exchange columns = reducing wastewater
  • Reduced carbon footprint
  • Reduced energy costs
  • Practice safe sugar refining in the most sustainable way possible

Sustainability

Wildrose Sugar Ltd. implements a highly refined selective separation production method to produce high-quality liquid sugar products. This method leads to reduced energy used by eliminating the evaporation and crystallization steps that are included in the traditional method of sugar refining. This not only decreases the energy per ton needed to refine sugar but also reduces the wastewater used by refining the usage of the ion-exchange columns.

Our method ensures that we are creating a reduced carbon footprint, and keeping our environmental commitment of practicing safe sugar refining in the most sustainable way possible.
